Back in the fall when I was covering Chicago area banks, I spent a number of weeks sifting through Midwest Banc Holdings Inc.’s financial statements, 8Ks and articles already written on top of far-too-regular calls with its PR person. I ended up writing this profile.

Kind of disheartening to learn (not surprisingly), half a year later, that it failed and its assets have been seized. 

Certainly, you can’t be tired of photos of Hudson.
